Dancers are highly cautioned and advised against the music becoming too complex with too many edits, sound effects or songs preventing them from exhibiting a clean and continuous dance performance.

It is the responsibility of every dancer to ensure that their competition music does not include curse words (or words that sound like curse words), inappropriate, foul, sexually explicit, and/or offensive words in any language. Words (in any language) that clearly and unmistakably offends race, gender, ethnicity and/or religion will receive a deduction.

The event organiser has the right to refuse music that is inappropriate, foul, sexually explicit, and/or offensive.
It is the responsibility of each dancer to remove inappropriate or offensive lyrics from their music regardless of language the music is recorded in (foreign or native). If a dancer's music contains inappropriate lyrics and the first time the music is played the inappropriate lyrics are not detected and the same music is used again but this time the inappropriate or offensive lyrics are detected by the judges, it will result in a deduction.
