Amendments to the HHI Official Rules & Regulations Manual

Here is a summary of the main changes:

Division Clarifications (page 5)

• The Junior Division is now defined as 12 and under

  
  

• In the JV MegaCrew Division, up to 10% of the crew members may consist of members who are 18 years old turning 19 within the calendar year of the competition.

• 
  

• Currently, a maximum of 2 younger members can compete in an older aged crew. That number is being changed to 3 and reads as follows: A maximum of three (3) younger members may compete in an older division crew, but no older crew member may compete in a younger division crew.

Defending Champion (page 8)

• For JV MegaCrew and MegaCrew divisions, a minimum of 50% of the crew members must remain from the original winning crew if requesting a change.

Dance Styles (page 17)

• Reggaeton and Commercial have been added to the recognized styles.

• The point values have been reevaluated for performing one, two or three dance styles and will read as follows:

  A crew "identifiably performing" three (3) or more dance styles will receive the maximum of one point (1.0) or the full 10%. A crew "identifiably performing" two (2) dance styles will receive a maximum of point seven five (.75). A crew "identifiably performing" one (1) dance style will receive a maximum of point five (.5).
